Getting Involved with Act of Giving

There are many ways to get involved with Act of Giving. As a starting point, you may wish to attend an event to meet us and learn more about how we implement our mission. For information, write us using the form below.

Different ways to get involved:

Become a contributor: Contribute funds of any dollar amount. With Act of Giving, financial gifts are greatly maximized because our organization is volunteer based. Less than 5% of our funds go to operating and administrative expenses.
Become a Member: Membership in Act of Giving is based on a personal and/or fundraised contribution of $600 or more on an annual basis. Members may vote on grant proposals and administrative issues.
Become a Partner: A partner in Act of Giving contributes or raises $1,500 or more on an annual basis. Partners may submit grant proposals reflecting nonprofits they wish Act of Giving to financially support. Along with Members, Partners vote on all grant-making and administrative issues.

Although not required, members and partners also participate on one or more of the following committees:

Finance
Stewardship
Communications
Grants

Being involved with Act of Giving is a great learning opportunity for those who are inspired by teamwork, researching non profit work, and a commitment to social change. There are no limits to what you can contribute and learn. Thanks in advance for your interest!
