The Act of Giving Foundation
Established in 2003, Act of Giving is a volunteer-based, 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to a vision of making the world a better place.
The Act of Giving Foundation affords its members an effective and dynamic way to leverage individual commitments to charitable giving. Fueled by our passions, we contribute and raise funds to support our efforts. These efforts include identifying volunteer opportunities, learning about unique non-profit organizations, submitting grant proposals on behalf of these groups, and providing annual grants to organizations that will be significantly impacted by this influx of resources.
Many of our founding members worked for an empowering non-profit that provided a model of philanthropy in action. Act of Giving was created out of a desire to continue this effort, as well as a unique opportunity to leverage our initial contributions. We are excited about the momentum building around our current efforts, and we are very much looking forward to meeting and working with new members, partners, and prospective grantees.
